CRM Manager – Barcelona

Job Description

Our client, a prominent entity in the eCommerce is currently in the midst of a significant transformation aimed at modernizing its approach to student interactions. With a focus on high-value products and pivotal life decisions, the mission revolves around simplifying complex and emotionally charged customer journeys rather than large-scale automations. The client is seeking a skilled CRM Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Head of Acquisition.

Responsibilities:

In this role, the CRM Manager will play a crucial part in driving the client’s transformation efforts. They will closely collaborate with a CRM executive and the digital and IT teams based in London and Barcelona. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive CRM strategy to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty, ensuring maximum profitability.
  • Segmenting and leveraging the database for targeted and efficient campaign execution.
  • Managing direct communications with customers through the CRM system.
  • Overseeing marketing campaigns within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including email campaigns and potentially other channels.
  • Utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools such as Journey Builder and Audience Builder for customer engagement.
  • Analyzing data and campaign results to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to optimize user experience through the creation of landing pages.
  • Implementing A/B testing or multivariate testing strategies to enhance campaign performance.
  • Conducting customer and campaign analysis to align the CRM strategy with company objectives and customer needs.
  • Working closely with sales, customer service, IT, and other teams to integrate CRM activities with company objectives.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience in a CRM role, specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in building end-to-end campaigns and data pipelines in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, creating personalized customer journeys across multiple channels.
  • Strong understanding of CRM principles and strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience in coding languages such as SQL, HTML, and AMPscript.
  • Strong analytical skills and a goal-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications (such as Salesforce certification) are preferred.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on strategic business thinking and driving transformation.
  • Salesforce certified Marketing Cloud specialist.
  • Solid understanding of CRM technologies.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and translating them into effective marketing communications.
  • Strong working knowledge of GDPR best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce and collaborating with external software integrators.
  • Experience working closely with IT teams and business analysts.
