Committed to driving the transition to clean energy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Project Director to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: We are looking for a confident, dynamic, and resourceful Energy Project Director to lead our client’s renewable energy projects in Malaga. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Spanish energy legislation, particularly in the context of renewable energy projects. Experience in the industrial and logistic sectors is highly valued. The Energy Project Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, development, and execution of renewable energy initiatives while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversee the planning and implementation of renewable energy projects from conception to completion.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of Spanish energy legislation, ensuring that all projects comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and government agencies to foster positive relationships and secure necessary approvals and permits.
• Financial Management: Manage project budgets, costs, and resources effectively to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management, highlighting project progress, challenges, and successes.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in renewable energy project management, with a focus on the industrial and logistic sectors. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Spanish energy legislation and regulations related to renewable energy projects.
• Language Skills: Fluent in French (written and spoken) and native Spanish speaker. Excellent communication skills in both languages.
• Leadership: Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and drive project success.
