Strategic Buyer

For one of our clients, a leading international company in the Industrial & Pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a Strategic Buyer.

In this role, you are the company’s market ambassador and representative of the company’s needs. You develop strong partnerships with suppliers while negotiating costs and conditions. You evaluate and choose new suppliers while managing and monitoring purchases, optimizing processes and analyzing risks.

 

By joining the Procurement team, your activities include:

• Direction & participation in negotiation sessions with suppliers
• Main point of contact for interactions with strategic suppliers, you evaluate their performance
• Audits/evaluations and periodic supplier visits
• Optimization & evaluation of procurement processes
• Lead and participate in development and improvement projects

 

Your profile:

• Experience in the field of procurement
• German mandatory, French a clear advantage
• Knowledge of an ERP (SAP: an advantage) and MSOffice tools
• Ability to negotiate and communicate
