The Las Vegas Raiders are seeking a highly skilled, creative, finishing video editor with superior techniques and strong storytelling abilities to join the Emmy Award winning production team. This role is responsible for programming around topical and relevant storylines for the organization across various media platforms (e.g., broadcast, digital, social, in-stadium, etc.). The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversee all aspects of video editing, including story editing, graphics, music and sound editing, color correction, and any other post-production needs to finalize video edits
Edit varying lengths (short and long) of content for broadcast, digital, social, in-stadium, etc.
Guide and mentor junior staff around editing techniques and media management processes
Support media management and organization through club’s storage server and the CatDV platform
Work alongside producers and other video production positions to ensure all duties and goals are being executed properly and on-time
Provide materials as needed to producers/clients throughout post-production workflows
Coordinate post-production with other internal teams
Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate highly creative ideas
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree in Film/Communications/Art or equivalent work experience
Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop
Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
Strong sense of creative storytelling and narrative structure, provide examples
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to work collaboratively in high-pressure situations
Ability to work autonomously, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative
General understanding of NFL rules, teams, players, and culture
Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including some nights, weekends, and holidays
