The Manager of Broadcast Technology will have the primary responsibility of maintaining the broadcast production workflows for Silver and Black Productions in support of flawless delivery of the organization’s year-round programming. This position will work alongside creative counterparts in Silver and Black Productions, broadcast affiliates, and vendors, in researching and developing innovative ways to support the producers in telling the stories that matter most to the organization through broadcast programming on television, radio, and streaming online.


-Manage, maintain, repair, and test all broadcast and post-production equipment at Raiders HQ, including but not limited to,
fiber optic and other audio/video cabling, edit systems, production file storage: online, nearline and LTO systems, master control room servers, router, production switcher, IPTV system, RF systems, intercom, broadcast cameras and peripherals, production monitors/displays, UPS systems and other A/V equipment
-Work with engineering crews from all Raiders broadcast partners, local and national, television and radio in delivery of programming to select demarcation points
-Provide engineering support for all studio productions and day-to-day workflow at Raiders HQ
-Recruit, hire, train and manage freelance control room technicians to execute live studio shows – train current Silver and Black Productions employees to operate live production equipment
-Direct or technical direct live studio shows, Raiders game days and other Raiders events at Allegiant Stadium
-Identify areas for improvement in both daily workflow and overall system functionality and plan for end-of-life equipment replacement, working with the Vice President, Programming and Production to address these needs through continued capital improvement
-Manage vendor support contracts, including upgrades, training and support tickets
-Maintain inventory of all production technology equipment and consumables
-Establish best practices and document production workflows for use in cross-training full and part-time employees
-Make time-sensitive decisions that may affect the organization’s goals and objectives
-All other duties as assigned



-Minimum of five years of experience in live production
-A proven history of increasing responsibility in planning and management of live broadcast production
-Thorough knowledge of today’s production environments, which include the latest technologies around cameras, video switching, lighting, replay, and graphics
-Ability to demonstrate creative and strategic thinking
-Capacity to learn club history, expectations and understand Raiders Fan Engagement strategies
-Superior problem-solving ability
-Experience with headset communication devices
-Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and scripting software
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Must be flexible regarding work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
