Edible Arrangements is building a creative team of deeply driven, passionate, and innovative thinkers, makers, and doers. We are currently seeking to add an extremely talented (some may call you gifted) Graphic Designer. You’re often referred to as a hybrid, because you’ll be comfortable designing and art directing for our ecommerce platform as well as concepting and creating for different mediums, including social, emails, broadcast, display ads, print, instore point-of-sale, video, website graphics and more. That’s a lot of priorities, so this position requires a creative, detail-oriented individual who is comfortable multi-tasking and collaborating with team members at Edible.

The successful candidate must have a strong ability to turn ideas into reality. They will need to be able to adapt to fit needs of multiple consumer channels. Independent problem-solving skills, initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are important. This position reports to the Creative Director and is based in our offices in Sandy Springs / Atlanta, GA.

Graphic Design
Develops branding elements, including digital, outdoor, print, social media, collateral and promotional materials, and in-store signage from concept to pre-press to production.
Develops, refines, and recommends enhancements for the creative platform for Web.
Monitors the timing, integrity, and quality of deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously from inception through the creative process to the execution of all materials.
Creates inspiring, strategic, and innovative ideas and presents creative solutions to ensure design meets the business objectives and remains on-brand.
Collaborates with creative team members to determine the layout, visual appearance, and usability of creative solutions to ensure alignment with the creative brief and target market.
Collaborates with the creative team to develop and implement design solutions and to ensure successful representation (i.e., cohesive messaging and consistent branding) of the brand across all media.
Creates conceptual layouts in accordance with design principles (e.g., color, typography, photographic selection, etc.) for the brand, elements, and usability.
Collaborates with the creative team to develop and implement design solutions and to ensure successful representation (i.e., cohesive messaging and consistent branding) of the brand across all media.
Coordinates creative activities with traffic manager to ensure deadlines are met on time and within budget while aligning with the creative brief criteria, brand guidelines, and design standards (e.g., quality, etc.).
Collaborates with the creative team to create interactive art and videos (e.g., product training campaign summaries, etc.).
Graphic Support
Provides design and graphic support for marketing and Web initiatives (e.g., online toolbox, packaging, merchandising, marketing events, displays, point of sale materials, presentations, sales materials, etc.).
Evaluates a brand’s visual language (e.g., color palette, logo, font, etc.) across a range of media.
Establishes the conceptual and stylistic execution for projects and campaigns to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and design standards.
Creates storyboards by identifying the range of elements to be used, the story to be told, etc.
Directs and/or assists with photo shoots, video production, location visits, and other stages of the creative development or production process.
Documents stylistic rules appropriate for the brand, the medium, and the audience, including color palette, typography, and logo-wordmark guidelines.
Performs print production tasks, including but not limited to downloading files, Photoshop, and preparing files for print and color correction.

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Art, Design, Communications, Marketing)
Work Experience
5-7 years Experience graphic design, marketing, and/or advertising in an agency environment
5-7 years Experience in varied media (html, digital, social, print) in an agency environment
Pre-press and production experience
Exceptional portfolio that showcases creativity, visual skills, high graphic standards, and solid conceptual, color and layout skills through static, dynamic, and interactive media
Experience creating marketing collateral, Web, and print graphics
Typographical and color theory skills

Skills and Abilities

Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Proficient in HTML, Online and social media fluency (e.g., eCommerce, websites, blogs, etc.
Knowledge of visual and digital design principles
Knowledge of the pre-press production process, including knowledge of graphic/image preparation for print and online
Knowledge of the graphic and functional aspects of Web and application design
Knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography, motion/rich media, and brand to create elegant, smart solutions and high-quality deliverables
Knowledge of print production, including color separations, font, and proper file preparation
Knowledge of the latest design and photography trends and ability to find ways to adapt these into strategic designs within the organization’s brand
Ability to convey clear, concise information in verbal, written, electronic, and other communication formats; and to demonstrate active listening while engaging others
Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
Ability to work under time constraints to ensure critical deadlines and quality standards are met in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that requires attention to detail and big picture thinking; and to effectively prioritize work
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with seasoned creative and marketing team
