About the Role
We are looking for a talented and highly skillful Video Editor to join the fast-growing Content Team at ManyChat. As the Video Editor, you will be responsible for managing the ManyChat video course which includes pre-production, production and post-production work. You will work closely with Product Marketing and Product teams to update existing courses as well as produce new course content that aligns with customer needs for onboarding.
You will proactively identify video opportunities along each stage of the customer journey and develop clear and compelling resources that help entice, onboard, and nurture our target customers to success.
You have an exceptionally strong foundation in video storytelling to create educational videos for web, mobile, ads, in-product, and go-to-market material. You’re versatile and can plan, write, and manage multiple projects, be a team player, and strong individual contributor.
The right candidate will have experience in directing, shooting, editing, motion graphics, producing, and optimizing a variety of videos. The Video Editor has a creative mind and specializes in educational videos that is consistent with the ManyChat brand.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing and monitoring our video course, from ideation to completion
Launch a scalable in-house video course that ensures tone of voice while delivering on-time deliverables
Produce, shoot, edit video for video course and support video marketing manager needs
Be an active partner in customer journey roadmap conversations proactively updating our video course library based on product developments
Create necessary assets for video course and supporting video needs
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience using video and editing equipment
Proficient in video software and platforms such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Wistia, YouTube
Experience with motion graphics, inserting sound effects, music, and transitions
Strong understanding of video production processes including design, layout, reviews, and approval
Creative thinker with the ability to edit a video to engage and educate users while adhering to brand guidelines, tone, and style.
Highly-skilled, creative visual storyteller with experience targeting a diverse, B2B audience
Deep understanding of marketing and customer journey
Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when collaborating with teams
Strong interpersonal skills–a team player with a positive, collaborative spirit, as well as a good problem solver and an innovative thinker
