Purpose: Producing video solutions to meet the promotional and communication needs. This person will shoot, edit and produce short and long videos, documentaries and other video types, as requested. Working alongside ministry leaders or from media briefs provided, the Video Producer will develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the objectives of the ministry. This role requires imaginative flair, awareness of current trends in visual arts, knowledge of the leading post-production software tools and an understanding of cost, materials and time.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Superior (video editing) skills. Ability to quickly maneuver through various types of projects, media and messaging to expedite project milestones and deadlines post production
Meeting with ministry leaders to discuss various promotional campaigns and video requirements as a representative of the Marketing Department.
Interpreting the needs of individual ministries and developing concepts to suit their purpose and project budget best suited
Scheduling shoots and coordinating needed voiceovers ensuring timely completion.
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts using innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time and team involvement
Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to appropriate team members and ministry leaders
Managing multiple video projects at the same time and allocating the relevant time according to the priority of the job using a wide range of media, including photography
Keeping current on the development of editing programs such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Working well within a team and with vendors such as printers, copyeditors, photographers, other designers, ministry leaders, website designers marketing specialists and
Working with tight deadlines while managing time effectively ensure brand consistency across all areas of the ministry through video and proper usage of all video equipment.
Being proactive in the presentation of all ideas which will serve to improve ministry work and deliver a more effective message

Bachelors Degree in Creative Arts / Design and/or equivalent real world experience
Excellent visual art skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Familiarity with church marketing and design trends
Flexible scheduled (available weekends and evenings)
